A MESSAGE FROM PASTOR DEL
Greetings to you and your loved ones!
I hope you, your family, and your ministry are doing well. I am writing to remind you about our upcoming six weeks support group that I am launching next Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at 7:00 PM.
The support group (THRIVE) will focus on the themes of grief, loss, changes, suffering, and healing during this time. Consequently, the group will offer the members an opportunity to pause, remember and reflect on a season filled with extreme separation, loss, pain, lament, and healing.
The format will be members using the safe and supportive nature of the group to share their stories, experiences, and insights to start their healing process. The group will be opened to anyone who wants to join it. I am hoping to have between 12 to 15 people enroll in it. And the group will work best if members commit to attending most (if not all) of the sessions to ensure continuity in the group. The meeting will be held virtually on our GoToMeeting Site.
We are going to be reading together and using this book (A Grace Disguised: How The Soul Grows Through Loss by Jerry Sittser.) as a framework for our discussion. If you are planning on joining the group, please call me at 401.663.8515 so I can bring you a copy of the book.
