Reginald Bastien was born in St. Marc Haiti, at an early age he migrated to the United States in pursuit of a better life and a future that God had for him. He has always been a natural leader being the primogeniture of 4 boys. Reginald gave his life to Christ and was baptized at the age of 16. He is committed to serving God and believes in the ministry of marriage. December 2020 will mark 21 years of marriage with Rose his God-fearing high school sweetheart, and first love. Rose and Reginald are the proud parents of 3 wonderful boys Gabriel, Elijah, and Malachi. Reginald considers himself to be a student and a connoisseur of the game of basketball with the New York Knicks being his favorite team. An amateur and an inspired musician, Reginald is a passionate song writer as well as choir conductor, he has written “Love is all I need“ dedicated to Rose, and Jehovah, My sheep hear my voice and Give your life to Jesus, which were all performed by Harmony Celeste the youth choir in Far Rockaway and Elwood Ave Church of God in Providence RI. After fighting with the Spirit of Jonah, and being in the belly of the whale, Reginald has surrendered and has inherited a missionary program ministering to greater than 100 children in one of the poorest cities in Haiti; Reginald stands firm on 1 Samuel 2:8, “He raises up the poor from the dust; he lifts the needy from the ash heap to make them sit with princes and inherit a seat of honor”. Lastly Reginald is currently pursuing a degree in ministry leadership with a pastoral ministry emphasis which he intends to use to further be of service to God’s people.
